@johnny: you can’t join steam servers, and concerning the ping problem try the servers that are near your location…

hello plz help me…
i dowloaded cs non steam v32.1 from torrents…
there are no problems in lan play and there are no problems in online play…i can easily find the server list by refreshing…
….what i wanted to ask was how to create a server…there is a file named hlds.exe in the non steam folder but when i run it it gives an error ‘hlds has stopped working’….now i have read various tutorials on how you can dload hlds , update it , bla bla bla………but my question still remains will the people playing non steam cs1.6 will be able to join it(is there a difference between dedicated servers that run legit cs and non steam ones )???heavily confused…..a detailed explainaition is most welcome…i may be lame

Hi, i have a slight problem when trying to join some servers, i seem to be getting a steam validation rejected error everytime i try to join a server. While on others it works but the ping is too high for me. Anyone have a solution to my problem?

Znaci probao sam v6 i v7 s nekoliko razlicitih sajtova,onda samo probao patch v19.v21.v26.v27..
Na ni’jednom nije htelo da pronadje non steam servere kamo’li da nadjem non steam preko ip adrese :s
Davno sam igrao cs1.6 ,ranije mi je radio

Sorry, the v26 link is dead, that’s why McAfee reported that – it redirects to 404 page… I’ll find another download link, or upload v26 to some file hosting service…

Thats the message which i got when i tryed to download the patch 26, maybe its a bad site,who knows.

Ok, never seen something like that before… Maybe the servers are updated – newest update is coming that will transfer CS from protocol 47 to 48, maybe the servers already done the update, but I don’t think so…
For now, all I can say is COMPLETELY remove cstrike, then install cs16full_v7.exe, and try pathing it with v26!!!
